Privacy

What this site collects.

Almost nothing. This page is a static website, and it is worth saying plainly what that means before saying anything about the product.

This website

There are no cookies. Nothing is stored in your browser by us, so there is nothing to consent to and no banner to dismiss.

There is no analytics, no tag manager, no pixel and no third-party script of any kind. Every font, stylesheet and image is served from this domain, so loading this page does not tell anyone else that you visited it.

There are no forms. The buttons here either open your mail client or take you to the customer portal; this site has nothing to submit to.

The web server writes an access log — the requested address, the time, the response status, the browser's user agent and the IP address the request came from — which is what lets us notice an outage or an attack. Those logs are kept for 14 days and then deleted. They are not used to build a profile of anyone and are not shared.

The site is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Nuremberg, Germany. If you write to us by email, we keep that correspondence for as long as it takes to answer you and to meet our record-keeping obligations.

The product

The product is a different matter from this website, and it is covered by the data-processing agreement that comes with it rather than by this page. In outline:

The KoraxLabs DDI appliance runs on your own hardware. Your DNS, DHCP and IP address management records, the identity correlation and the long-term DNS-security log archive stay on it.

DNS-security enforcement runs in our sovereign cloud. To decide whether a name should be answered, that cloud necessarily receives the queried name, the time, a source identifier and, where identity mapping is enabled, the user. It keeps a short-term hot store so the console can show you recent events. It does not receive web page content, HTTP payloads, files or browsing history, because a DNS-layer product does not see them.

Production is hosted only with EU providers, currently OVHcloud, in EU regions, under EU legal jurisdiction.

Ask Kora runs on the appliance. Questions asked of it and the data behind its answers stay on the appliance; they are not sent to an external AI service.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its processing or ask for a copy. Write to info@nsops.io and we will answer. You also have the right to complain to your national data-protection authority.
